Who Am I?

I am a passionate technology expert and I give my absolute best to everything I do. I certainly don't leave work at 5pm and try to forget all about it! I read a lot around technology, I like to talk around the challenges, and I keep well abreast of new developments and opportunity. I have a keen eye for genuine talent and great innovation which is reflected in my portfolio of technology stocks and shares. I am very socially aware with great interpersonal skills. I can adapt my approach to meet the needs of any audience and communicate complex ideas and strategy to none-technical or none-business minded people.

What Do I Know?

I graduated with honours from The University of Manchester in 2008 where I studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I have 4 A-Levels (Maths, Computing, Physics, Electronics) and 12 GCSEs.

    • Peer to Peer technology. I have implemented a system for P2P live video streaming based on the Bittorrent Protocol.
    • DVB. I have implemented an MPEG-TS compliment demuxer and am very familiar with the DVB bitstream format.
    • Video Streaming. I have written codecs from scratch and am uniquely placed to understand and solve the most challenging streaming media problems.
    • Embedded Systems. I have worked with a number of ARM based systems and have a lot of experience with Texas Instruments OMAP3 SoC.
    • Flash Games Development. I have written a number of successful games both commercially and for fun. Facebook Application Development. I have developed Facebook applications using ASP.Net and PHP, in both FBML and IFrame canvas styles.
